Americans Ponder Sequestration Impacts

This snapshot in the Washington Post looks at the results of recent polls. Here’s what the Post had to say earlier this month:

Nearly half of Americans say the federal spending cuts prompted by sequestration will hurt the economy, according to a new New York Times/CBS News poll. The result differs from an April Washington Post-ABC News survey, in which 63 percent said the budget cuts were hurting the economy. Poll questions about economic impact are somewhat abstract, which sometimes explains the variation in findings.
