Arkansas AdvocatesMarcia and Elaine returned to Little Rock, Arkansas to continue working with the fabulous staff of Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families as they endeavor to change the debate about public investments for kids in The Natural State.

Patrick participated in the second Kids Count Communications Institute in Nashville as part of both a workshop and a plenary panel on the use of narrative in advocacy and movement-building.

EARNCON2013Anika co-led a workshop at the annual conference of the Economic Analysis Research Network (EARN) that focused on how to make the case for public policies that address racial disparities.

Together with our great partners at Neighborhood Partnerships in Oregon Patrick kicked off our fourth Advocates College with a group of 16 creative and engaged advocates and leaders.

Elaine presented to a group of British labor union leaders visiting Boston, Massachusetts for a leadership institute hosted by the Harvard Trade Union Program.

Marcia led a workshop at the Texas Health and Human Services Leadership Academy for 35 staff who are honing their leadership skills.
